APATHY

The pathetic nature of Men, where:
One has an attitude of indifference;
One lacks any enthusiasm for life;
One sees life as a blas?-affair;  

It appears you only serve to take up
space which could be used for something
more useful like... Bumps on a log!
May I make a suggestion?  

There must be a bridge somewhere
near where you live high enough to
end your pathetic little life's story;
Please find it, and jump off... Soon!  

This being a cold and callous suggestion;
Was intended to jump startle your heart
into the rhythmic functioning of a human,
and to reanimate your spiritual self.  

Life being a short lived experience,
leaves little time for that self-indulging
art of self pity, with a side order doubt.
There's a Rose... Go smell it!  

Starting to feel a little better now aren't you?
Good, now get off your arse and start doing;
I don't care what you get involved with,
but do something significant with your life!  

Make an old man feel like someone cares!
Make an old woman feel a little needed!
Adopt a dog or a child and give 'em a home!
Adopt a child with a dog... It's a two for one!  

You were born into this world for a reason,
no one came with an instruction manual;
Besides... the fun is in exploring life's richness,
even when it gives you a tooth ache.  

So buckup my friend and join in the fun,
as it matters not what your lot in life be;
It matters only how you inhale life,
and the lyric's you write for prosperity  ##

THE MANY FACES OF GOD

Stand up and take a look around you,
look deep into all the faces you encounter;
Since all men were created in His image,
these then... are all the many faces of God;
And if in truth... our image be as His,
then we are all... a reflection of His grandeur.  

Life is a time between birth and death,
a time to be lived... for that day you die:
And should one be in need of an assist,
or if one sees another in need of an assist;
Should the responsibility of helping another,
need to be explained, then Shame is thy name!  

As you turn to God for guidance and help,
remember... we are all created in His image;
Turning to one of those many faces you see,
should be just as if you turned to God Himself;
And that face of God, should assist and respond,
to your time of need... just as He would.  ##

WELCOME TO THE NEW REALITY SHOW... 
AMERICAN POKER

A new game of no-chance;
This game slightly favors the house,
your actual chances of winning are;
A Quintillion to One.

The rule to this game is rather simple,
and a sign is posted at every table,
'cause they don't want you to forget it;
Only the House is Allowed to Win...

All the cards are clearly marked,
and should any dealer discover
you might just win a hand,
will levy an entertainment tax.

We little folk are always to be dealt,
Aces and Eights; The Dead Man's Hand.
The Merchants of Power are dealt,
as always, a pat hand; The Royal Flush.  ##

LISTEN TO THE CHILDREN

It is time to listen
to what the children are saying;
It is after all,
their future that we are effecting.

When they ask a question
about the rational
of the adult worlds actions,
they are ignored.

or... are patted on the head,
and told, ... "some day,
you will understand."
I still don't... Do you?

They ask things like; If I am supposed
to get along with people,
even when I don't like them,
why don't you have to?

When we were children,
we did not except the,
"Do as I say, not as I do...",
response from a can.

So... why should they except
what we didn't?
The children of today,
are no different.

They are no different from,
the children of yesterday,
nor will they be different,
from the children of tomorrow.

Perhaps the lesson here is;
"The more things change,
the more they stay the same".
No difference, in the difference!

Just as there is no difference
in how the adults of yesterday,
messed up the world for today;
Today's adults are messing up tomorrow.

Perhaps it's time to listen to the children,
'cause we all know what happens
when we listen to the adults;
It is possible the children... might be our salvation!  ##

BETHINK: MANKIND?PREDATOR OR PREY

Prey be Sheep " Predator be Wolf

Neither is an acceptable creature for Man to be.

Man's purpose in life, is to nurture his spiritual self.
Not lay waste to the world in seeking power and pleasance.

During the night of the present day, a child will be:
terrorized... tortured... frightened... hungry... cold...

How can one chase after pleasance, when a child lives in harms'
way?
Perhaps this is because... Man has not sufficiently nurtured his
spiritual self.

Man's ignorance is reflected in the Arrogance of his Self-Worship.
In placing himself above all else... Man is now King of a Dying
Realm.  ##
