CHILDREN'S EYES

All the sacrifice's I made for you babe,
You know I really changed my hope's
around.

The little girl I used to be with all the
plans,
I traded them for my love in your hands.

If loves the thing that will set me free,
In your arms is the place to be.

All my religion and all my fears,
Will not answer me why I'm here.

All the time's I spent high in the closet
of my mind,
Would not close the door on the past I
left behind.

The future is a gift for some of us,
It's my conscience I will learn to trust.

Everyone has a fear of being used and left
behind,
That's the risk you take in being kind.

They say peace is a word to believe in,
Except survival keeps us all mischeivin.

We all reach a cliff someday,
There is no choice to jump or stay.

Children's eyes keep our hopes from dyin,
It's a miracle that some keep tryin.
